Absolutely love it!
Typically I loathe lo-cal things because of the dreadful taste of nasty sweeteners. Not here, my friends! This is delicious and perfect for summer. Light, fresh, just enough bubbles ... happy days :)

What Is Very Mandarin Lo-Cal Soda?

Very Mandarin is a citrus based soda crafted with very real mandarin juice and a touch of yuzu.

It sits within the StrangeLove Lo-Cal range, which means it’s formulated to be lower sugar without artificial sweeteners, stevia, or anything pretending to be sugar.

At only 48 calories per 300ml, it’s flavour first soda made with the finest juices, extracts and oils.

What Makes It Lo-Cal?

We use less sugar, real yuzu juice from Japan, and leave artificial sweeteners out of it entirely. No stevia. No erythritol. No preservatives. Just natural flavours and a touch of sugar for balance.

48 calories per bottle, and none of that “why does this taste like that” after-effect.

How to Serve Very Mandarin

What spirits pair well with Very Mandarin?

Mezcal, tequila blanco, vodka, and Japanese whisky all work well. The yuzu in the formula gives it a sharper citrus edge, which makes it particularly suited to whisky highballs*.

Can I drink Very Mandarin on its own?

What a weird question to ask us. Once you have purchased Very Mandarin Lo-Cal soda, you can essentially do whatever you want with it. Drink it. Bathe in it. Wrap it in a blanket and raise it as your son. We really don’t care what you do with it, just please for the love of god keep buying it.

How do you keep the calorie count so low in these soda's?

We hired a bunch of unpaid interns to hand remove each granule of undesired sugar. But if the lawyers ask - we use smaller amounts of quality fruit extracts, oils, juices, herbs, spices and cane sugar to naturally achieve a lower sugar and calorie count compared to traditional soda's.

Does this soda contain real mandarin juice?

Yes. Real mandarin juice. Not “inspired by,” not “essence of,” not a vague citrus impersonator.. The actual thing.

Does this soda contain artificial sweeteners?

No. No stevia, no erythritol, no weird aftertaste. Just less sugar, more real flavour.

No, we tend to steer clear of additives we cannot pronounce.

Where are your drinks made?

Our products are made in Preston, Victoria. We picked that spot because the upturned shopping carts, youth knife crime and balding hipsters are fun to look at while taste tasting our drinks.

Should I leave my husband?

Will this drink fix my sad life?
