What makes a mixer premium?

Us on the other hand, use only the finest extracts, juices, oils, spices and botanicals to craft our Premium Mixer Range. This ensures each mixer is balanced and compliments (not overpowers) whatever craft spirit you happen to be mixing with.

Do you offer mixed or sample packs for mixers?

We offer Tonic Taster mixed packs for the chronically indecisive. Alternatively, if it's variety of flavour you seek, try the Lo-Cal Soda Mixed packs instead.

Where are these made & ingredients sourced?

When we started a drinks business, we had no idea we were creating the most complex supply chain system known to mankind. Yuzu from Japan. Citrus from Mildura. Pristine Mineral water from the Macedon Ranges. We source our ingredients from Tokyo to Timbuktoo with a focus on sourcing only the finest (which often translates to most eye wateringly expensive) ingredients and strive to source locally when we can, resulting in approx 97% of our ingredients being sourced from Australia.

Are there low-sugar or lighter options among your mixers?

No matter what we are cooking up in the StrangeLove Laboratory, sugar reduction has always been a priority. We focus on flavour first by using quality high spec juices, extracts and oils, which are then complimented by small amounts of cane sugar to carry flavour. Some drinks we purposefully craft as lower in sugar, such as Light Tonic or Lo-Cal Sodas, while others have a slightly higher sugar content to perfectly compliment caft spirits.

Do your mixers contain artificial sweeteners or colours?

We’re vehemently against using artificial sweeteners and synthetic colours. Any sweetness comes purely from natural flavours, with a touch of real sugar to carry, balance and enhance those flavours. As for our colours — they’re formulated by our Senior VP of Pretty Colours: Mother Nature.

What sugars are used & what’s the sugar content?

Only Australian sourced natural cane sugar is used in StrangeLove Beverages. Each product contains a different sugar content - please check each individual product page for Nutritional Information. Generally, Premium Mixers contain aorund 3-6g of sugar per 100ml serve, considerably less than most commercial Mixers or Tonic Waters, who use sugar to mask poor ingredients.

How should I pair each mixer with spirits?

If you want to master elixer mixers, you have come to the right place. Our tonics famously elevate craft gins - whether you are after lower in bitterness such as Coastal Tonic, lower in sugar Light Tonic or a hard-hitting punchy Indian such as Tonic No.8. If tequila is more your type, specialty mixers Salted Grapefruit, Lime and Jalapeno and Spiced Pineapple are your new best friends (yes mixers can be your friends, they actually make much better friends than humans). Light or dark Rum tango's with Spiced Pineapple or Cloudy Pear. Whiskey and dark spirits err on the sugar and spice side, with Dry Ginger, Double Ginger Beer, Very Mandarin or Cloudy Pear. Finally Vodka goes with everything, so pick a flavour you enjoy, throw it together in a glass and put it in your mouth.

Is StrangeLove Mineral Water suitable for mixing with spirits?

You can actually mix anything with spirits if you try hard enough. The light carbonation and clean mineral profile make it a perfect pairing with premium spirits, or as a refreshing standalone drink.

What Minerals are found in StrangeLove Mineral Water?

oh you want minerals? You want the minerals? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE MINERALS. Outdated 90's movie references aside, you actually can handle the minerals. They are quite good for your insides. Our mineral waters contain the following; Calcium 19 mg/L, Magnesium 24 mg/L, Sodium 25 mg/L, Potassium 15 mg/L, Chloride 57 mg/L, Bicarbonate 170 mg/L, Silica 10 mg/L, Sulphates 5 mg/L. Yum yum.

Are your ingredients locally sourced?

Approximately 97% of our ingredients are grown, made or produced in Australia. The obvious exceptions being certain extracts or specialty ingredients like Yuzu juice. But we have a friend of a friend who just put in (two!) Yuzu trees so we should be sorted for a few Yuzus by the year 2035.

What mixed packs do we offer?

Where exactly is your Mineral Water sourced?

We source our Mineral Water from the lush natural springs of the Macedon Ranges, in Country Victoria. Why did we choose this particular spot to source this pristine Mineral Water? Because the grass was green, the sky blue, and the cows looked happier than us. Oh and the naturally occuring trace mineral profile was a pretty good selling point too.

But whyyyyy should I pay you money to drink water when it comes out of my tap?

A very fair question. Our Mineral water contains....*drum roll* Minerals. The rocks, streams and our dear friend mother nature naturally infused this water with all the good stuff, so all we had to do was thieve it from a stream and chuck it in a fancy can.

What is the difference between Still and Sparkling water?

Still water is still. No bubbles, no fizz, and generally lacking in personality. Whereas its sparkling counterpart is all drama. Bubbles, pops, fizz, lets your mouth know it has arrived and is here to party.

Each blend is lightly carbonated and made with natural fruit extracts, with no added sugar, sweeteners or artificial ingredients.

How is your flavored seltzer water different from soft drinks?

Our naturally flavoured carbonated spring water contains a light infusion of natural flavours (oils, juices and extracts), no sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Soda on the other hand usually delivers a more intense flavour, and is complimented with either sugar or artificial sweeteners to achieve the desired flavour profile. Flavoured carbonated water is seen as the healthier alternative to soft drinks, and is a great substitute when you are looking to reduce sugar or sweetener intake.

What makes your lightly carbonated water different?

We scoured the nation sipping from every pond, stream and puddle we could find before settling on the highly alkaline mineral water of country Victoria's Macedon Ranges. With a clean, smooth and luxurious mouthfeel and naturally occuring trace mineral profile, some customers have stated that this water is ''The best mineral water ever.'' And as they say, the customer is always right.

How long will an order take to process?

We aim to get all online orders out within 2 business days. As drinks are a heavy, bulky item – delivery times can vary. Usually 2-3 days for most metro areas and up to a week for regional areas.

I placed my order today, why isn’t it at my house yet?

Such a great question.
Einstein showed that nothing that has a mass will ever surpass the speed of light – and especially not tonic water driven around by a subcontracted delivery driver in a 1997 Isuzu Van. Be patient friend, your drinks will arrive – hopefully in one piece……

Can I modify or cancel my order?
