How to Build a Spiced Pineapple Highball at Home

The pineapple highball is proof that a good drink does not need tools, 25 ingredients or skill of any kind.

Tall glass. Large ice. 45ml tequila blanco or mezcal. Top with Spiced Pineapple and finish with a pineapple wedge, leaf or citrus wheel.

Feeling spicy? Add a light chilli-salt rim.

In more of a rum vibe? Swap in any dark rum and carry on.

What Spirits Work Best With Spiced Pineapple?

Tequila blanco or reposado is the obvious move, but Spiced Pineapple also makes a very convincing mezcal mixer, plays nicely with dark rum, and makes a vodka drink almost interesting.

Where are your products made?

Our products are made in Victoria, Australia because we like to torture our staff and drinks with shitty weather.

Are your ingredients locally sourced?

Approximately 97% of our ingredients are grown, made or produced in Australia. The obvious exceptions being certain extracts or specialty ingredients like Yuzu juice. But we have a friend of a friend who just put in (two!) Yuzu trees so we should be sorted for a few Yuzus by the year 2035.

Is a pineapple an effective weapon during the apocolypse?

Due to its aggressive spiky exterior, we suppose, yes it would make a pretty handy weapon. We recommend immediately stockpiling thousands of pineapples in your basement like any sane person would do.
