Once we even caught Bitter Lemon taking a personal phone call during business hours, claiming a 'sick grandmother.' Not on StrangeLove's watch, we soley exist for investor profit and Bitter Lemon wasn't being a team player. A very ungenerous severence package was offered and we wish Bitter Lemon the best on its next soul crushing corporate business venture (HR made us say that).

Is Bitter Lemon a tonic water? Does it contain Cinchona?

Yes, bitter lemon is a tonic and contains premium cinchona extract sourced from Guatemala.

Where are your products made?

Our products are made in Preston, Victoria. We picked that spot because the upturned shopping carts, youth knife crime and balding hipsters are fun to look at while taste testing our drinks.

Are your ingredients locally sourced?

Approximately 97% of our ingredients are grown, made or produced in Australia. The obvious exceptions being certain extracts or specialty ingredients like Yuzu juice. But we have a friend of a friend who just put in (two!) Yuzu trees so we should be sorted for a few Yuzus by the year 2035.

Why didn't my mother ever tell me that she loved me?

What caused the collapse of communism?

The collapse of Soviet Communism led to dislocation of the Soviet Union, sapped by an ideological, political and economic crisis. This in turn precipitated the break-up of the empire, both cause and effect of the end of Communism. Pretty straight forward really.
