Grab your favourite highball glass and plonk your Collins ice cube in. For those wondering what a Collins ice cube is, its not an ice cube which belongs to your balding neighbour 'Collin', it is a long thin ice cube. You should be able to pick up a Collins ice cube tray at one of those inner city homewares store where a spoon costs $87.

Pour the whisky into the glass.

Gently top with the Pear Soda.
